Deep Lunar Blue - American rock band from Springfield, Illinois
Deep Lunar Blue is an original and classic rock jam band from Springfield, Illinois that has been playing high energy and entertaining shows throughout Central Illinois and surrounding areas since 2009. In that time, DLB has a developed a unique and powerful sound, which touches on the varied styles and genres enjoyed by the band's members including: classic rock, modern rock, alt-country, psychedelic, traditional and jamband music. We have two amazing male lead guitarists/vocalists, a fabulous female vocalist, and a great rhythm section.
We've played 354 shows to date and it is full steam ahead. We hope to see you at an upcoming show. Cheers

DLB plays great original songs, and a wide range of rock and classic rock covers spanning from the 60's to the present including songs by Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Cream, Van Morrison, Johnny Cash, Steely Dan, Bob Marley, Talking Heads, Steve Miller Band, Bob Dylan, The Band, Tom Petty, Wilco, and Neal Young.

Established in January 2009, Deep Lunar Blue quickly developed a unique sound blending many varied styles and genres including rock, classic rock, bluegrass, alt-country, psychedelic, traditional and jam band music while playing throughout Springfield and surrounding Central Illinois towns and festivals. Over the course of our first two years DLB played over 70 shows and released an album in February 2010 titled "Watch it Burn" (Deep Lunar Blue Records).
